Getting cold out! Dropping some heat at Vegas StrEATS!

It’s that time of the month again Vegas StrEATS! This month we noticed it is going to be a bit nippy out, so we decided to bring a space heater to keep our booth warm and some official clean limited run of CIVILIAN beanies! We have four different styles, all very comfortable and keep that noggin warm ranging from $10-$15. Also dropping are pillows we have wanted to do pillows for a while now, something different from most streetwear brands are dropping right now. We hand crafted our very own limited run of pillows, now you can say “F*CK YO COUCH!” with some clean CVLN pillows! We have 2 12″x12″ ($10 each) 4 14″x14″($15 each) 6 16″x16″ ($20 each) and we are initially dropping them at StrEATS , if we still have some left we will put them online. Vegas StrEats is a few days away, and this month is going to be colossal!  Now I can’t give any surprises away, but I can def say DON’T MISS IT! The spooky fitting flyer should set it off enough with New food trucks, sick new artist pieces coming out, brands dropping new swag and the line up music line up is killer!

We were honored this month to roll out an exclusive StrEATS X CIVILIAN Limited Edition pull over hoodie for this month’s festive. The weather is perfect for it, so grab them before they are gone! Aw man I miss Dr. Katz what a great show! It was definitely a show a head of its time, this was one of my favorite episodes with Mitch Hedberg. Thought this was perfect for a late night blog! enjoy!

Post Sept Streats..and what’s to come……

So It’s the Tuesday after StrEats and we are barely recouped from the busy weekend…. It’s crazy cause we have so much fun prepping and working the event that we never realize how tiring it is until the days after.

For being the first and only StrEats on a Friday, we were really happy with the outcome.The weather was def something to contend with as the evening went on. We kept referring to the NeverEnding Story and its infamous “Nothing” cause the wind was not playing games and shit was flying everywhere. StrEats crowd is always tough and they stayed out and were treated to the customary super dope sets on stage and  bomb ass food. Big up to DJ ZO and DJ Air Stegosaurus AKA SWAGasaurus for reppin CIVILIAN..Both had amazing sets, Zo started early this month and got the early crowd dancing!  Steggy must have still been inspired from his Burning man trip because he  killed that stage!  Much love to both of them!

Sad that we missed some of the acts on stage, but were happy to be next to Hippoe who had it Krraaggin’ off- (shout to Joe Keezeeeee)..with Tnes spinning the ones and twos for our b-boy battle up front.

We dropped some car stickers (online soon), prints, and posters,and did a trial run on some new designs on our buttons; feedback appreciated

The weather did give a nice realization that our days of triple digit days heat are numbered so keep your eye out for hoodies, beanies, et cetera, et cetera….

Busy weeks leading to Vegas StrEATS

Mad inspired for this post summer season! Our early Fall drop has been a success and we expect to be sold through before the end of this coming wknd. Thanks to all of those who have continued to show love, we really appreciate all the positive feedback and look forward to dropping new designs and color ways soon.

Again, we were humbled to be part of the MAGIC Edition of this season’s DunkXchange,  it’s always nice to see  the Vegas community come out to support local brands. This season def had a very positive and forward moving vibe around the Vegas cultural scene. Cannot help but to think that we are all cultural missionaries, out to show the world that somewhere deep inside of this over clichéd city, there lays a very real creativity to do great things.

So far, StrEats has for sure been our platform. Interested to see the turn-out for our 1st and only Friday fest. Weather should finally be close to tolerable. Take a peek at who will be there this month! We are really excited about the new food trucks coming on board as well as the new artist/street wear brands that will be hitting vendor row. And always the music is on point! We suggest you get the CIVILIAN booth early because we will def sell out on some hot designs that night!
